Dave is leaving today!!!! and Andy's cycling experience
Yes, just 3 days after his final exam, now he is moving out to stay alone in Birmingham for 12 weeks. He starts to work tomorrow. By that time, Andy and I still have a week more to go before facing the exam. The funny thing is, yesterday, on a belated birthday dinner for him, he showed out his new credit card , saying that he wanted to treat us all the dinner , even before he gets his first salary. The next thing happened is, apparently the restaurant only accepts cash. XD
Today Geraldine, our ex-collegemate comes to our house for 2 nights stay. Dave, me and her were having lunch in Bugis Street Restaurant. Andy is absent because of his obsession about F1 racing. how sad :(
Then later, maybe he 'insaf' adi, and suggested to watch IMAX in Science Museum. He borrowed an Imperial student ID from Janice for Geraldine, and we're going there to catch the 4.35 show. When we just reached there in front of the cinema, we're told that Imperial Student is no more getting free access to IMAX by yesterday. Oh no.... tahi! But luckily that receptionist gal is so nice to let us in (maybe see us leng chai and yao cien tou) .
After the show, i gave Andy his first cycling lesson. I don't want to talk bad about him here. coz i believe in him, as he always have 'sport cells ' in himself. Looking at him struggling to get up and sit on the bike-seat (which is somewhat higher than him), and getting balance to cycle forward, i also don't know how to guide him other than repeatitively demonstrate and telling him what to do. After all, we come to a conclusion -- the learning site is not ideal. (he's practising in front of Imperial's Falmouth Gate). So, the next lesson that we decided, will be in Hyde Park the next time. Everyone please give him moral support and hope that he's not giving up!!!
